FHM 100 SEXIEST VICTORY PARTY-PHILIPPINES

snapshots from the FHM show. All pieces were designed and styled by moi. Enjoy the busts and butts! photo courtesy of Jujiin: the boy who cried chos!

COOL SUMMER

One thing fo' sho, I'm loving denim on denims. Other than the fact that I have lots of them, They're weather friendly-in Manila, at least. If it get's way toot, chambre is always an alternative. If the denim shades don't match, there's always Zonrox bleach under the sink ;)

I and my friends threw a garage sale since last week and I earned P 6 grand from it already! I'm really serious in clearing up my closet because it has to go (long story). I'm really keen on creating a new wardrobe starting from denims and yards of black and white jerseys!

TIME IS GOLD!

Looking at the photo, time is, indeed, gold! Ever thought of layering watches? Doesn't matter if they don't say the real time, point is, it's time to wear them blings altogether and layer them with bangles. Is this bye-bye to studs?

One word:
Givenchy!

Truly orgasmic! Nevermind if you 'd eventually scare people away, Michael jackson did, but those are really fantastic. Something Madonna would wear if she sings Frozen again.

Imagine a large gold sequined T-shirt over skin-tight acid-washed jeans.

And this one's probably an overkill. Spectacular, nonetheless.

BEAT IT!

why can't I stop thinking of spending? $48 a pair from Pat Fields. Not bad, huh?
This is probably a Filipino thing, but when I drink in bars I always wrap my beer bottle or vodka glass with tissue because I can't stand the ice cold temp with my bare hands. This would probably solve it and help save trees. :)

JUST EXACTLY WHAT I'M HOPING FOR!

I posted my interest on that Raf Simons slip ons but the price is beyond my trust fund! Thanks for the post BB, Urban Outfitters has still my size left for mere $130!!! That's just more than 6K in Philippine-peso... these gotta be mine!!!

MADONNA X GUY BOURDIN: HOLLYWOOD

Although issues of copyright surrounded this vid, Madonna's tribute to Guy (Bourdin, that is) is still an inspiring visual!

ANOTHER REASON TO DRESS UP, MAN

I'm not sure if straight men are buying this idea, but I definitely do! Jean Paul-Gaultier gives me an excuse to wear man-corset- sequined or in orange, with my good ol'pair of chucks.

Androgyny didn't quite stop last season.
Here, it's the boys turn to masculinized feminine pieces.
I like the Chanel-inspired coat.

The Curious Gaze of Dan Felton

JIMMY CHOO X TERRY RICHARDSON

Terry Richardson shoots Jimmy Choo campaign again. There's something about the raw sexiness within Terry's shots and when blondes and high heels are involved, it's sure to be a provocative one.

Angela Lindvall says "I love choo!"

Notice that leopard prints come in different colors, Sprouse-style, in this collection.

(awww! probably one of the sexiest photographs I've ever seen!)

GROWL!

christopher kane shirt
chimps shall not kill chimps

i'd love to have one but according to net-a-porter, its £235.19! That's more than 15 grand in pesos for a shirt! Still want to own one, though...

I love the look!

Interesting footwear from LV S/S 2010

LANVIN S/S 2010

It is as if Lanvin custom their collection for a better me.

I'm feeling head-to-toe color for summer 2010.

Loves these looks!
I like the silhouette made by this all black ensemble and head-to-toe print is gonna be a bold move next year! Those visors will sure be around editorials and everyones heads soon...

what looks like woven colored cords combined with leather creates an interestingly techno-folk vibe.

What I'm wearing and what I would want to be wearing!

I just purchased a Just Cavalli bleached denim jacket and I'm so loving the denim on denim look! I'll be wearing this probably everyday in exchange of my favorite black leather jacket! I'd probably fill this with studs like the Roberto Cavalli studded jacket some seasons ago. That's the thing about me and expensive stuff. I'm always scared of buying real expensive outfits because I end up customizing them! And I think denim blue goes well with blond hair.

I'm also loving my Alladin Sane shirt which I personlly heatpressed over transfer film. And about the rose, that's a Columbian Black Rose which according to Junya, the florist from the shoot earlier, is veeeery expensive. <3

Wang-wang-wang alert: Have you heard that Wang is releasing his menswear later this month? Yes, he is, according to Fashionisto! The line will utilizing his T-label, which I predict a more interesting line of shirts like that moth-eaten hem tank he's wearing. I can already imagine it looking good on me. I just can't wait for it to touch my body !

JULY 4TH, PHOTO SHOOTS AND MURDER

I know it's a week late but as they say, "better late than never!" To all those who are celebrating July 4th, may you enjoy the freedom you have now! :)

People have been approaching me why I stopped posting lately and I tell them that I've been busy for the big show I had the other night. FHM 100 Sexiest was last night and it went pretty well until it got stressful few minutes before the show. Anyways, the show went pretty well. I heard some guys in the toilet comment that they liked the show last year better than this year- well, that's just them. Pictures will come later as I scour facebook for photos.

Yesterday, I went to sit for a profile portrait for another exhibition. The photo above was my look. I always wanted to become blond, that obviously show,so I went to wear a long blond wig with my favorite blue eyeshadow. The photos went accidentally and surprisingly good (not the above photo). Jake, Shahani, Jay and I then watched SOCO (local version of CSI) , which featured the murder of our friend Ivan's murder. Those facts they said we already knew but still we cried. It was my first time to see the murder scene photos and even when blurred we can recognize our friends carcass, which made me cry again. God, I miss him! To get that sad images off my head Starlet and I went to Cubao X to get a few drinks. We got drunk and it ended to become a not so few drinks.

superstarlet, asela, rcxy

My head is throbbing the whole day today while shooting Joey Mead and Phoemela Barranda for that Member's Only exhibit on Aug. 5. I still feel nauseated until now and it's 8 in the evening already. And now, I'm waiting for a 9pm brainstorming to start.

Busy as bee!

And oh, I watched Jacko's tribute over at facebook/CNN and I'm truly saddened. I haven't posted a serious MJ tribute yet, but I promise I will. I'm not a big fan unlike my cousin Ginger who have been buying MJ stuffs since we were 9., but his demise is really sad. Being a pop-savant, his death killed a part of me.

I MIGHT BE NEEDING THIS!

I miss Patsy!!!:(
Another show I'm participating in is Jake Galvez' beauty exhibit. I still owe him one lay-out and I'm just not feeling it yet! This lay-out has been on hold for more than a month now and I'm not happy with how my first idea is building in my head. I still feel a missing element on the piece I'm trying to do. That and a show on thursday, a shoot underway on Saturday, I'm practically creatively stressed-out! I need to get drunk!

I HEART EBONY BONES

It was a crazey crazey friday night when Tina D and I hit embassy for the Marlboro Black Launch Party. I had no idea who were playing except that when Marlboro asked you to come, you should! The last party they threw was in Boracay and Santi Gold was there in her gold spandex rocking the beach. I missed that.

We arrived in the middle of the set and we were surprised to see EBONY BONES in their techno-folk outfits rocking the stage. Their sound is part Scissor Sisters, part electro in upbeat danceable tempo. Spotted headbanging on the pit were Robby C, JR Isaac, Alessandra de Rossi, and Gian Romano. Funny, Everyone was asking if I styled them It was a blast.

imagne watching this LIVE and right infront of them

Bigger than the blast was a text blast we received that a friend comitted suicide. The attempt failed, thank god! And we continued to party, this time not on the dance floor, but inside Embassy's V.V.V.I.P. room with the band! Inside was a small crowd of 10-15 plus the band. It was a colorful explosion! It was as if I was in a 4-hour long music vid! The red velvet couches and purple walls set as the perfect backdrop for dirty-luxe chikahan! Everyone was holding their Moet in crystals as we get to know the ebony girls and the golden blond boys from London! Too bad they can't stay a day longer because now, they are probably in Monaco for a gig!

I had an exciting time talkin with the blue-haired bird about their London-chic outfits until Moet started to kick in. The cute blonde guy in gold leather cape is Daniel! I know, he is sooo hot!

The ebonies...
check out those unibrows and the falsies!

The golds...
Yeah, baby! Blondes rule!

RCXY: AN EXHIBITIONIST?

I'm here sitting on the plush crushed velvet couch inside Member's Only - an exclusive club at The Fort which will cost you a hundred grand to get in, where I''m styling a bevy of hot naked models for photographer Raymund Isaac's photo exhibit coinciding with the club's launch on Aug. 11! This is a dream come true on my part as I've been wanting to mount an exhibit since September last year which did not happen for 'lack of sufficient funds.' This is not a fashion exhibit as I envisioned it to be but absofuckinlutely class A and super-susyal. I feel very excited and nervous because only the eyes of the rich and the richer will lay upon those images!!!

behind the scenes

Equally exciting and ground-breaking is taking part to the first-ever Manila Design Week (check site here) among other great great artists! I'm sure you've heard or probably read about this fete on other blog sites but I'll tell you anyway. Manila Design Week is a week long exhibit, symposium, among others on art and design IN PRINT. Yours truly is a collaborating stylist for the Creative Collaboration exhibit which teams are comprised of a photographer, make-up artist, lay-out artist and a wild card collaborator. The theme requires as to merge beauty and function- two opposing forces in the art world. I'm so looking forward to the outcome of this collaboration. Projects like this excites me a lot especially when the aim is creating an artistic identity for the country. Kudos to Team Manila Graphic Design Studio and to Ms. Clara Balaguer for giving local artists a chance to show to the world what they can do and many thanks to Brat Pack and Adobo Magazine for supporting this endeavor!

The underwear mafias strike back. I busy myself with the upcoming 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2009 Victory Party where I'm completing a segment worth of barely there outfits for the show. Thus, explains the non-posting for almost a week! FHM 100 Sexiest show has been a much-awaited event each year for men who wants to watch a parade of over 100 almost naked models and celebs! This year, Marian Rivera, Angel Locsin, and Katrina Halili battles for the number 1 spot. Who do you think will win? Show is on July 9.

Wait! I'm not dead yet!

SING ALONG MICHAEL JACKSON

"Gone To Soon"

Michael Jackson
from the album Dangerous

Like a comet
Blazing 'cross the evening sky
Gone too soon

Like a rainbow
Fading in the twinkling of an eye
Gone too soon

Shiny and sparkly
And splendidly bright
Here one day
Gone one night

Like the loss of sunlight
On a cloudy afternoon
Gone too soon

Like a castle
Built upon a sandy beach
Gone too soon

Like a perfect flower
That is just beyond your reach
Gone too soon

Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight
Here one day
Gone one night

Like a sunset
Dying with the rising of t
he moon
Gone too soon
Gone too soon

play and sing-along

Michael Jackson's jackets, jetsparks and moonwalk will forever be remembered.
